When I first started out in my business I had no idea how to get traction. I was full of great ideas but no idea how to implement them, or get the ideas to the right people. I had always worked in big business, and in my final stint as a trouble shooter I contracted in some of Australia's biggest corporations. I thought I had what it took to start a small business and that it would be easy. How wrong was I!!!
Starting a small coaching business requires you to go out and sell the one thing you don't want to sell .... YOURSELF!!!
I had always worked in the back end of a business, even when I was a professional musician for nine years I was in the back line.
Suddenly this new business idea of mine thrust me into the spotlight front and centre of stage. I really struggled with the concept of me being the product. So I struggled even more with the need to sell myself and my services to others.
I was at rock bottom when a highly established business coach pulled me aside at a meeting and told me I needed to get a system to get clients and stay in touch with people who had shown interest in working with me. They said the system would be my answer to the earth the world and everything. So I went in search of a system.
I loved the one I found so much that I purchased the rights to teach the program to others.
I loved it because it was simple to follow and was no nonsense in it's approach. It gave me the understanding of what I needed to do to get clients and it gave me the knowledge to go out there and get people interested in what I did.
The fact I'd been missing (duh!) is that you need a system.
As the founder of the system once told me in utter frustration at my efforts one week "Marg, business is not a menu where you get to pick and choose one or two things to do, it's more like you have to eat everything on the whole menu."
There isn't one way to get many clients, but there are many ways to get ONE client.
Even with the system, I was selecting the things I was comfortable with that didn't require me moving out from behind my desk. The magic happened for me when I began to speak, which strangely turned out to be easier for me to do than attend networking events.
That's what is interesting about this system - you will get way more than just a few how-to's, it forces you to grow as a person because quite literally, if your marketing activities don't allow you to literally reach out and touch someone who needs and wants what you have on offer - you are always going to struggle.
I Don't Want You To Struggle!
The other main driver to put this program together at such a reasonable price is because I don't want people to have to struggle in the same way that I did when I first started out. More and more people are choosing to work positively with people in some sort of natural therapy business and I want you to be hitting the path racing, not struggling like I did.
The product is worth way more, but in the early days you need the information, so I've figured out a way for you to get some of me along with all the information you're going to need to create a solid foundation on which to grow.
